Advantages of Stage6 R/T MK2 racing clutch for AM6The MKII version is an upgrade on the successful Stage6 R/T 5-disc clutch. These are the main advantages over the MK1 version:

More friction material: The clutch plates now have a whopping 23% more friction material, resulting in a larger contact surface. The lining is not thicker, but the material is evenly distributed over a larger area. This improves clutch engagement, which in turn leads to a noticeable increase in performance.

Harder clutch springs: The clutch springs are harder (and orange!), which leads to reduced clutch slip.

The oversize friction surface paired with harder springs not only improve clutch life expectancy, but above all clutch performance, especially with very powerful engines with a lot of horsepower, which is known to be one of the weak points of AM6 engines.

The very high-quality components guarantee very high mileage and durability and a significant reduction in clutch slip, even with very powerful engines.

The clutch disc set consists of 5 friction plates with special aramid fiber-reinforced facings, 4 steel plates and 4 clutch springs.
